This is a copy of an email I have sent to Laura Hunter, Head of Communications at Coventry City FC.
"As a supporter of many years I was very sorry to hear of the death of Brian Hill last week.
"Brian was a great servant of CCFC , being a member of the team that won three promotions from Division Four up to Division One.
"I am also rather upset that his passing has not been mentioned on the clubs website and hope this is put right asap.
"Can the club also recognise the part he played during his very successful career with the Sky Blues at the game next Tuesday night."
