Coventry City are waiting to see if there is any interest in clubs wanting to take their players on loan, which may then allow him to bring in new players.
Speaking to the Press Association at the club's weekly press conference, Mark Robins said: "There's quite a few player who need some games so it will be interesting over the next week to see if we get any interest in any of our players who may be available to go out on loan.
"Obviously we'll assess that. There's no good asking me about individuals. It depends on what the interest is, level of interest and who it is people are interested in.
"There's a deadline this time next week, 5pm Thursday, and we'll be looking to get games for one or two if we possibly can do and it might just free up one or two things for me to be able to freshen the squad a little bit going into the Christmas period.
"It totally depends on if there's a level of interest in our players. If that happens it may free up a little bit to freshen it up."
