Coventry born Clarke, who signed a two year pro deal back in July, told the club website: "It was a shock when I got a call-up to the England Under 19s but I thought I handled it pretty well and gave a good account of myself.
"To be fair it has all happened really quickly because I never expected to sign a pro deal so soon and to make my debut for the club so early in the season was like a dream."
