Jordan Clarke is keeping up his fitness after missing much of last season .
The Coventry City defender, who has confirmed that he is staying with his home town club, told Sky Blue Player: "The injury was difficult to get over but I believe I have become stronger because of it. That strength will play a big part next season.
"Because I was out for a long time, I've just kept up my running to make sure I am ticking over so I don't leave my fitness behind.
"I am doing about three sessions a week which is keeping my fitness up and I feel like I need to as I missed a lot of the season."
