Nigel Clough was pleased with his side coming back to take a point in the 2-2 draw against Coventry City this afternoon.

Speaking to the Press Association, Clough said: "It was a good point, especially after coming from 2-0 down and being overrun for the first 30 minutes.

"But the second half was even and we were sharper and brighter.

"We couldn't get a foothold in the game early on but we got better and the first goal lifted us.

"It was game on after the penalty and we didn't want half-time to come. If we could have had another five or 10 minutes I think we might have got another goal.

"We think their first goal should have been a free-kick (for a foul on goalkeeper Brad Jones) and we still feel aggrieved about that."

Speaking about Robbie Savage scoring his penalty, Clough said: "He has been practising them all week and has sent them to the keeper's right, so I'm not sure why he changed his mind. The keeper almost got it but thankfully it went in."
