Said Coleman: "This club has a lot to offer. It has got a Premier League stadium and at the last home game against Wolves we had 28,000 fans, so it is all there. Everything is in place except for the team and we are doing that.
"It will take more than one transfer window because we are not going to put a new team together overnight. It is going to take a bit longer than that but, these three new signings are a big step in the right direction.
"And I think it is a big pat on the back for Coventry City that these players have chosen to come here over other clubs and hopefully that is just the beginning.
"Everybody had a little break but we've carried on working to get new players in. The Chairman has done a lot of hard work, as have Andy Thorn, our head scout, myself, Steve Kean and Oggy.
"We've got three new players and fingers crossed there'll be another two or three still to come. "We might lose one or two, that's the way football is, but it's been very fruitful so far. "Hopefully we can go on from there and keep adding quality players to enable us to make a real challenge."
