According to The Daily Mail, there is interest in Coventry City defender Rod McDonald.
The central defender, who joined the Sky Blues from Northampton Town in the summer, after spells of playing non-league football with the likes of Nantwich Town, Hereford United and AFC Telford, has been in good form for Mark Robins' side this season, commanding one of the tightest defences in the entire Football League.
McDonald, who missed Sunday's 3-0 win over Boreham Wood after suffering concussion in training on Friday, has, according to the Daily Mail, been watched by scouts from League One sides MK Dons and Shrewsbury Town.
The paper also claims: "Championship sides are also following his progress as they ponder a January bid for the defender."
