Clubs who are members of the Football League will be asked to vote on whether the regulation that all clubs must produce a matchday programme should be scrapped or not.
Some clubs in Scotland no longer produce match programmes and programme sales are in decline at many clubs as many supporters baulk at paying £3 or more for stuff which is available on-line either via the club website or via other media forms.
Fleetwood Town in recent years, have been producing a reduced programme which is available for a pound.
The vote, which will come into effect if voted through, will be taken at the Football League AGM in June.
