With Gary Johnson leaving Bristol City by mutual consent, Coventry City manager Chris Coleman has moved up to the fifth longest serving manager in the Championship.
Cardiff Boss David Jones, who was appointed in May 2005, leads the way with Sean O'Driscoll second, Nigel Adkins third and Kevin Blackwell, who got the job at Sheffield United, five days before Chris Coleman was appointed, in fourth.
Speaking about this, Coleman told the CT: "I'm fifth am I? That's incredible isn't it - I've not even opened all my suitcases yet.
"Johnno did a good job for Bristol - they just missed out on the play-offs - and now he has gone. That says everything about modern football, doesn't it - barmy!"
