Speaking about the former Millwall man who won City's Player Of The Year in his first season at the Ricoh Arena, Coleman said to the CT: "Andy is a terrific lad and I have really loved working with him.
"We have got Dimi Konstantopolous who has still got another year with us and at the moment we have Keiren Westwood and Danny Ireland, so Andy is a luxury we can't afford.
"He has done great since I have been here and never caused a problem. He has been a good number two and we will do as much as we can to help him get sorted out somewhere.
"He is at the stage where he needs to be playing first team football to keep himself fitter so he can play longer.
"But he has been smashing and it is news I didn't want to give him because he is such a good lad but that's part of my job and unfortunately he won't be here next season.
"Oggy has missed a few sessions this season and Mash filled in on the goalkeeping coaching and he has got an excellent demeanour for a coach.
"His knowledge is there and I said to him he can do both, keep playing and coach because I know he wants to be a goalkeeping coach and he will be a good one.
"He is disappointed but he understands the situation. I wanted to tell him now because he deserves more than waiting until the end of the season. i am sure he will be sorted out somewhere because he deserves to be and has still got some years in him."
