Coventry City boss Chris Coleman is hoping that a good performance from Michael Mifsud tomorrow night against Iceland will spark some interest in the player and a deal can be sorted for him to leave in the January transfer window.
Said Chris Coleman to the CT: "Nothing has changed in terms of his future here. I have had one or two discussions with his agent and ideally it would have happened in the summer because when that was the case and someone expresses the desire to leave, the quicker it happens the better because both parties have to move on.
"The earliest we can do that is now Christmas so hopefully we can play well for Malta and spark a bit of interest. There hasn't been a lot of that. "We've had one or two phone calls but nothing concrete and it has been very, very quiet but we will see what the next transfer window brings."
