Speaking to the BBC after the game, Coleman said: "We never turned up for
the first half an hour and this is against a very, very strong Leicester City team. We knew that in order to get anything we would have to compete and we never competed for half an hour. We were 2-0 down and it could have been four in all honesty. We just wanted to get to half-time and get into the lads.
"We pushed hard in the second half and could even have won it. They had one or two chances as well and it was a good derby game.
"This is a big game for us, it is a derby game. "You saw what it meant to the supporters and the way we were playing in the first half left a bad taste in the mouth but the second half was much better."
Speaking to Sky Blues Player, the City manager who applauded all the City supporters after the game had ended said: "The first half we were poor and the second half we were good. "We deserved nothing more than we got in the first half but I think our second half performance made us worthy of a point.
"The first half an hour was not good enough and while Steve Harrison talks about tactics at half time I talked about 'other thing's but the lads gave a superb response in the second half.
"It was a good derby clash and I thought our supporters were magnificent throughout so a thank you goes to them yet again.
"In terms of the play-offs though we are a few points away now although there are still eight games to go.
"We've got some big games coming up so hopefully we can replicate the desire we showed in the second half."
