City play their sixth game in twenty days on Saturday when they travel to Blackpool, who beat Wigan 4-1 last night in a League Cup tie and then have a fortnight without a game due to international fixtures.
"Six games in three weeks then one game in two - that's ridiculous, said Chris Coleman to the CT.
"It's not right, it doesn't suit anybody, apart from the international teams and it is something that needs to be addressed.
"But we are, where we are and we'll try to make the best of it. It will be good to get the players away from each other because when you have had that sort of schedule it can be mentally wearing.
"You can get that siege mentaility when you are on the road, especially on the back of a home defeat, so we will see how hungry the players are.
"We have got to get back in the habit of putting in a performance because if you do that, you will get a result nine times out of ten."
