Coleman Slams Player Inconsistency

Coventry City manager Chris Coleman has told his players to sort out their act after some poor defending saw City lose 3-2 at Preston North End on Saturday.

"We are at our worst and certain players who play for us are at their worst when they have had a couple of decent games," said Coleman to the CT.

"And that's why we are where we are, why we are not top six and why we are not in the Premier League as you have to do it week in, week out. Not one in three or two in five. You have four good games then you are off it a little bit and that is how it works if you want to progress and want to be a decent team at this level.

"We have had two good games - Bristol City and Sheffield United and then at Preston we were a bit milky, so we are at our worst when we have had a couple of decent performances. That is what I have seen since I have been at the club."
