Coventry City manager Chris Coleman has said that he has had a very positive meeting with Chairman Ray Ranson to discuss budgets for next season.
Speaking to the CT, Chris Coleman said: "I had a very positive conversation with the Chairman on Friday and we aim to have a more detailed discussion next week.
"I know the style and formation, we want to play and what type of players we need but, of course the players you want are often the players other managers want, so it becomes a question of what you can afford.
"I like to think I've been very understanding about the club's financial position and I will cut my coat to suit my cloth as I always have - if we have got more money available I'll try to invest it wisely, if not we'll have to look at loan deals.
"I think that, in their hearts, supporters know that. They don't want one fantastic day and then have to bite their nails about whether they are going out of existence."
