Coventry City's Danny Fox has said that coming to Coventry has changed him as a person.

Fox, was signed by Ray Ranson for City from Walsall and was Player's Player Of The Year this season.

He told the CT: "This time three or four years ago I had been relegated to League Two with Walsall and I didn't know whether I would have been playing a year later.

"I was 19 years old and I took a look at my life and there were a few things I needed to change, not least my lifestyle and stuff like that, and I am the first one to admit it.

"So coming to Coventry has made me into a better person and I am obviously a better player as well and I am so grateful that they took a chance on me when they did.

"I am 22 years old and there is always room for improvement. "If I was to say that I am the complete player now then I would be lying because it doesn't matter how old or experienced you are, you can always improve your game and that's what I am looking to do, and I think I am in the right hands.

"I think the gaffer has made me into a much better player than I was this time last year.

"He and Steve Kean have been fantastic because they have known when to put their arm round you and say 'right, you need to do this or that,' so I am very grateful to get where I am and achieve what I have so far."
