Ian Davidson from the Coventry City London Supporters Club was invited to a conference call with Tim Fisher yesterday evening. On the call was Steve Brown from the Sky Blue Trust, Jonathan Strange from the Supporters' Consultative Group, Sandra Garlick and David Busst.
Tim said the objective of the call was to bring everyone up to speed about where the Club was
The points Ian took from the call were
- it was a two year deal. The last meeting between the parties had lasted 20 hours.
- Council had been incredibly positive in resetting the button.
- Very little would be in the public domain as all parties had signed a "business strength confidentiality agreement"
- new stadium was needed as the club must have its own revenue stream.
- there were questions about the JR and the appeal. Tim Fisher was consistent with what he had said at the CCLSC Q&A, in that this didn't affect the negotiations as it wasn't about the club but between SISU and ACL.
- Ticketing, pricing, seating arrangements would be announced in the next 3 days. Transitional arrangements were top of the agenda.
- Communication with supporters was key.
- The points made on the Stadium Forum could be transferable.
