Former Coventry City player Gary McSheffrey has joined Eastleigh.
McSheffrey had been at Doncaster Rovers but missed much of last season due to injury and was not offered a new deal.
The Coventry born forward/midfielder, who has made over 450 Football League appearances and played in the top flight with City and Brimingham City has joined the National League Premier side on a deal which is currently until January.
McSheffrey, has been given the 28 squad number and goes into the squad to face Guiseley on Saturday.
