Former Coventry City midfielder Conor Thomas has completed a move to Swindon Town FC.
The Coventry born midfielder has signed a three year deal with the Robins and Thomas told Swindon's club website: “I’m delighted to sign. “I’ve been training here for three days now and since I’ve been here they (players and management) have been great. The manager has been a breath of fresh air, I’m really looking forward to working with him and just getting started now. Everyone seems quite close, quite a tight-knit group. All the lads have been really good with me.
“I’ve been through all the age groups (at Coventry). “I started at the age of seven – obviously, I’m from Coventry. I’m 22 now so been there all them years. It’s time to move on now. I’m just looking forward to what’s ahead.
“I’ve played quite a few games for Coventry and I’m still quite young so hopefully that will stand me in good stead. I’ve got quite a bit of experience for my age.”
