Conor Thomas has said that he is happy to back playing.
The midfielder missed pre-season after suffering a bad case of concussion in the Sky Blues' first pre-season game at Nuneaton Town but was back playing the first half of City U21's 3-0 defeat at Ipswich Town.
"I'm so so happy to be back," Thomas told Keiran Crowley.
"Since the concussion I haven't done anything, it's taken longer than I'd thought. .
"I was desperate to play against Ipswich and be in and amongst it once more, the injury came at a really really bad time in pre-season.
"I've never missed pre-season so I'm playing catch-up. It's been really frustrating, my legs have been fine but I'm eager to get in around the team again.
