Forest Green Rovers manager Mark Cooper was full of praise for his players after their 2-1 win against Coventry City this afternoon.
Cooper told his club's website: “We’ve done well at home with the last three wins and we’ve been resilient.
“It was about picking a team that was going to defend for their lives not give up too many chances and mix that with a little bit of quality and fortunately, that’s what we got.
“I played with a back four so Dan Wishart missed out but I wanted people at the back who I knew would go and put their heads on it and they did that today.
“We did a lot of work on Thursday and Friday about limiting crosses but Rawson and Gunning were outstanding.
“Bennett, Haydn Hollis, they were outstanding defensively today and that’s what you have to have.”
