According to the Sunday Mirror, Alan Cork has been linked with the managerial vacancy at Mansfield Town.
The Stags have been without a full-time manager since former Sky Blue Carlton Palmer resigned last month.
Cork was brought to the club by Micky Adams and has been managing City Reserves as well as helping out with the first team on match days. In the sixteen reserve team games that Cork has been in charge of since January 05, the Sky Blues second string have won three, drawn three and lost ten.
He missed last week's win over Leicester and the last game of last season which saw a 3-1 defeat for City Reserves at Southampton.

The former Wimbledon striker is reported to be one of three or four candidates from outside the Nottinghamshire based club who are in the frame along with current caretaker manager Peter Shirtliff.
