The 45 year former Burnley boss had talks with City Chairman Ray Ranson and depending on what you want to believe, was or was not offered the job to replace Chris Coleman.
City are now saying that they have cooled their interest in Cotterill who has been having more talks with Notts County Chairman Ray Trew.
