Coventry City are hoping for a bumper gate on Saturday for the opening League One game of the season against Wigan Athletic.
City have sold just under 5,000 season tickets and around two thousand match tickets, with Wigan, so far selling around 1600 tickets and hoping for a following of around 2,000.
The Sky Blues are hoping this season, for average gates of around the eleven thousand mark, which they will claim will allow them to put a competitive team on the pitch and are hoping a minimum of a couple more thousand at least decide to pay on the day.
