The Scot, who scored twice for Hartlepool United last night, is out of contract with Coventry City at the end of the season and has been recommended by Adrian Heath now at Austin Aztecs.
Former Mackam Heath was in on the deal to bring Kyle from Sunderland to Coventry City and has recommend the striker to Frank Yallop.
According to Tribal Football, Kyle, who would like another Championship club , said about the possible move: "Adrian Heath said one of the teams is looking for a big six foot three Scotsman so he asked me whether he would like to come out there. "It is interesting stuff and their season is different to ours but I have got a little boy and over time I have been thinking about it, it's a difficult decision."
