The new City boss is to change his backroom staff in the summer and with Shaw,who is one of Coleman's closest mates from their days at Crystal Palace, being out of contract at Millwall, is rumoured to likely be offered a job.
Shaw was signed for City in 1995 and made 362 appearances for the Sky Blues. He was rewarded with a testimonial against Celtic in 2006 but left City after not being happy with the then manager Micky Adams.
