Coventry City Council were concerned that SISU were going to liquidate Coventry City FC, a court in Birmingham heard
According to the Coventry Telegraph's Simon Gilbert who is at the High Court case between SISU and The Alan Higgs Charity, a report of August 2012 suggests that "Coventry City Council took on Yorkshire Bank loan knowing Sisu would see it as a hostile act and the report "indicates Council believed Sisu would liquidate club as a result but might be persuaded to put the club on the market."
