The badge which has gone up on the Arena did not according to the CET have planning permision.
City Council's John McGuigan told the CET: "It is not a problem to us. "The sign is in the right place and is the sort of proposition that we would have supported anyway but we are annoyed that we haven't been asked. "We have a commitment from the football club that no more signage goes up at the Ricoh without discussion with us."
