Having initially been rejected by the Sky Blues as a youngster, Coventry born McCormick signed for Plymouth Argyle and made his debut in May 2001.
The 24 year old, has never given up his support for City and did not celebrate any Plymouth goals against the Sky Blues in matches he has played in.
He has made 139 appearances for the Pilgrims plus two for Boston United.
