The Coventry Charity Football Cup Committee handed over cheques totally £11,650 at its annual presentation evening at the Merrick Lodge, Coventry tonight.
Over 140 people enjoyed a game of Heads & Tails, making £110 and music from Richard Gizane before the cheques were presented to seventeen locally based charities.
Each charity told of the work they do and there were many heart rendering stories.
After an excellent buffet, a raffle added £432 to the pay out pot for 2014.
