Coventry City On This Day

October sees the launch of Coventry City On This Day, written by Sky Blues author Steve Phelps.

The book is Phelps third book on the Sky Blues and his latest tome chronicles in diary form, events that took place in Coventry City history since that day on August 13th 1883 when Singers FC were formed.

It gives a whole twelve months tales of the delights of promotions, relegation escapes and the 1987 FA Cup to the more mundane occurances that we accept with Coventry City such as the sackings of managers and includes enough trivia to keep the stattos happy.

Plenty of research has gone into the book and as Phelps himself says:" A day by day account of happenings at Coventry City cannot cover everything but the contents of this book highlight just what a great club we support."

Priced £9.99, and published by Pitch Publishing, Coventry City On This Day also includes an array of black-and-white photographs. The 192-page book is a perfect gift for any Sky Blues fan. It can be ordered at www.ccfcshop.co.uk or by calling 0844 873 1883. ISBN 978-1905411979

Details of any book launches will appear on this site.
