Coventry City chairman Ken Dulieu has said he will be meeting with former vice chairman Gary Hoffman next week to discuss his offer to buy the club.
Hoffman is fronting a takeover bid and had offered to buy the club for £1 and pump in around £30m in investment and then pay Sisu back the money they had invested in the club after they had gained promotion.
Mr Dulieu confirmed to the CT: “I am happy to meet with Gary and I am optimistic that this time the investors will show up and we can have a meaningful discussion.
“I can totally understand that Gary wants another go, he has been in the paper more times than any of my players over the last few months, so he’s obviously keen, but I am talking to lots of other people who do not want to conduct their business through the media. ”
