Morecambe Manager Jim Bentley feels that the FA Cup Second Round tie against Coventry City will be a difficult game.
Speaking to the Lancashire Evening Post, Bentley said: “Coventry are a big club and past winners of the FA Cup in 1987. I think they should be playing in a higher division, but they are where they are.
“They’ve had their problems off the pitch. “But their results have picked up lately and Mark Robins has gone in there and brought in some new players.
“It’s going to be a difficult game for us, but the FA Cup captures the imagination of everybody – players and supporters, maybe not so much in the Premier League, but lower down the leagues.
“If you ask the players what the best cup competition is, they will still say the FA Cup.
“It gets people talking and the excitement going. “It’s a big game for us and one we are really looking forward to.
“Every year there are upsets in the FA Cup and I’m just hoping we are one of them come quarter to five on Saturday.
“But we’ll just go there, enjoy ourselves and hopefully give a good account of ourselves.”
