Coventry MP Colleen Fletcher has demanded an urgent meeting with the Football League to try and ensure that Coventry City have a long term future at the Ricoh Arena.
According to the Coventry Telegraph's Simon Gilbert, the MP said: Colleen Fletcher said: “This response from the Football League is not good enough.
“It is clear that the only organisation able to resolve this situation is the Football League, it is important that they do more to reassure the fans that they are doing all they can to bring this matter to a head and ensure that a long term deal is reached that will work for both CCFC and Wasps.
“I have now written to the Football League requesting an urgent meeting to establish what more they can do to resolve this matter that has dragged on and on for too many years. Sky Blues fans deserve better than this, it is time to deal with this matter for once and for all.”
