Further on from our story last night from the Sky Blue Trust's AGM, the Coventry Sports Foundation's Paul Breed has said that the door is still open to Coventry City FC to discuss City Academy's future at the Alan Higgs Centre.
Coventry City MD Chris Anderson, is becoming more and more under-fire from sections of the City support for a number of things that have happened on his watch, cried off from a meeting on July 6th and Paul Breed, chief executive of CSF, said to the Coventry Telegraph's Laura Hartley: “We can confirm that a meeting was scheduled between the Coventry Sports Foundation, Wasps Rugby Club and Coventry City Football Club on Wednesday, July 6, to discuss ways that we can help the football club’s academy, but unfortunately Chris Anderson withdrew ahead of this meeting.
“Our door is still open and we would still like to meet with Chris to discuss ways in which we can help the football club’s academy moving forward.”
