Coventry City Ladies Manager Paul Cudby has stepped down with immediate effect.
Cudby, appointed in 2008, had given the club some of its most successful times ever, with back to back promotions, a WPL League Cup Semi-Final appearance against Leeds United and a County Cup victory against Aston Villa last season.
However, the injury hit and financial strickened City side are struggling in the WPL National Division table, with more away wins than home wins and
Cudby opted to announce his departure on Tuesday night to his shocked played, citing personal reasons for stepping down.
He leaves with the utmost respect and best wishes from all connected with Coventry City Ladies, who have began their search for a new manager, who will have a hard act to follow.
