ESPN Classic is proud to announce they have produced an original series of exciting new programming called "Strikers", which will profile in a rare and candid way the on and off-the-field personalities and behaviour of elite goalscorers to play in England throughout the seventies and eighties.

Gary Imlach gives the low-down on the West Bromwich Albion and Coventry legendary striker, Cyrille Regis. The programme kicks off at 10pm on Monday 19th March 2007 and will run over thirty minutes. Immediately following the show is the high drama football match, West Brom V Manchester Utd, 1980 in which Cyrille shows off his skills.

For the remainder of the week, ESPN Classic on Sky Channel 442 will feature other memorable matches for Cyrille's legendary career including: Sheffield Wednesday V Coventry, 1987 (21st Mar) Coventry beat Sheffield Wednesday thanks to a Cyrille Regis hat-trick on their way to winning the FA Cup against Tottenham Hotspur

Gary Imlach discusses in details the virtues of Cyrille Regis's career in each show and strips him bare to profile him in an honest way for all the UK to see.
