Crewe Alexandra manager Steve Davis has said that there is no better test than Coventry City whom The Alex face at Gresty Road tomorrow.
Davis told Crewe's official club web-site: “It is always difficult to lift a dressing room when they suffer a defeat like we did against Shrewsbury but they have responded reasonably well to set-backs this season and they will have to do it again.
“There is no time to feel sorry for ourselves. We all have to dust ourselves down and go again. The players have picked themselves up over the last few days and will be ready for Coventry.
“We have prepared right and there is no better test than Coventry. They have arguably been the best side we have faced this season but we gave them a real game earlier in the season and I think we have improved since then as well.
“We know the quality they have throughout the squad and they will be many people’s favourites for promotion and rightly so.
“When you suffer a set-back like we did against Shrewsbury then you have to move on quickly. The next three points become the most important and that is what our focus is on. We have gone through the point we needed to from the Shrewsbury game and will hopefully learn from that situation.
“Everyone remains positive and it is a game we can all look forward to.”
