Former Coventry City youngster Liam Davis has signed a one year deal with Oxford United.
Davis was released by Northampton Town at the end of last season, after making 79 appearances and scoring eight goals.
The Wandsworth born winger, who joined City as a sixteen year old from Fulham and went on to make eleven first team appearances for the Sky Blues plus a host of reserve team experience, had impressed in a trial game against Birmingham City in midweek.
Davis will team up with another former Sky Blue in Andy Whing who joined Oxford back in June.
