Decisons,Decisions

Coventry City manager Iain Dowie faces some tough decisions as who to play against Hull City at the Arena on Saturday. Having had two good results with six different strikes on the score-sheet,places for the the front two have not been so competitve in years.

Not everyone is going to be happy, in fact Dele Adebola said: to the CT: " I wasn't a little bit disappointed to be left out on Saturday, I was gutted. "but saying that, Robbie Simpson didn't make the squad and Michael Mifsud would have been disappointed about not starting, so there were a lot of players who were not happy.

"But you have to put things into perspective and although there is nothing you can do about it at the time, you have to make sure that when you do get the chance you do something to put ideas in the manager's head.

"And hopefully, me, and Robbie did that on Tuesday night. "There are not enough places on the bench for everyone and we have still got Wayne Andrews to come yet, so it is a very difficult position for the manager but it is better this way because if it wasn't hard for him then the strikers wouldn't be doing enough.

"But on Tuesday night I think a lot of players did themselves favours - not just the strikers - but he can only play eleven at a time.

Leon Best added: "All the strikers are on one apiece now. "One start one goal, although Rob Simpson and Michael Mifsud didn't start and they still got their goals, so I don't know about giving the manager a headache, he'll be having a migraine!"

Michael Mifsud is a doubt after missing the Notts County win through a knock picked up at Barnsley. So that leaves five strikers wanting two starting shirts and Dowie is expected to see who has been sharpest in training before he announces his side at 2pm on Saturday.

City have designated the match as a family funday and a family of two adults and two children can get in for £49.
