According to Aidy Boothroyd's Coventry City midfielder Gary Deegan is desperate for success.
The midfielder signed from Bohemians of Dublin last year, got in a few laps of Doncaster's Keepmoat Stadium on Tuesday night as part of his come back from an ankle stress fracture that he suffered in pre-season whilst coming back from an injury he picked up in City's defeat at Reading last season.
Speaking about Deegan to the CT:"He's a lot further ahead than he thought he would be and he is chomping at the bit.
"He is desperate to play but we'll have to be really careful with him because we don't want any more set backs.
"He's angry, desperate for success and I like that because that's the way I operate. He's a lad I really looking forward to working with, but I don't think it will be this season."
