It would appear that Coventry City are taking no more action over the comment made by Gary Deegan claiming to support a former terrorist organisation.
Deegan was banned from training for two weeks by the club following a comment he made on Twitter and will now do running and fitness work at the Academy instead of going to Scotland on Monday with the rest of the first team before rejoining the squad on July 23.
Speaking to the CT's Andy Turner, City manager Andy Thorn said: "Gary will work with the fitness coaches at the Academy and do all the running that we have been doing for the last two weeks and then when we come back, he'll join in with the football side of things."
