"The main aim before the game was to go out and get in Plymouth's faces and we did that and I thought we did enough to warrant winning game, said Simpson to Sky Blues World.
"Personally I felt a bit sick in the changing room after because I thought our performance deserved a bit more than we got. It was quiet in the changing room after the game but we know we can still do better.
"Plymouth managed to get one real chance and take it yet we dominated for most of the game, created chances and just couldn't get it in the net.
"Their defender flicked one of Fox's corners onto the bar and most of the chances were ours so it was a bit gutting not to come away with anything."
