Coventry City striker Clive Platt has said that substitute referee Matt Stewart was correct in awarding the 89th minute penalty for the Sky Blues at Watford on Saturday.
Speaking about the penalty decision which led to City snatching a 2-2 draw, Platt told the CT: "The referee had already warned one or two of us to stop grabbing in the box or he would award a penalty.
"Two seconds later, the player grabbed Richard Keogh and fair play to the ref, he stuck to his word and gave it."
