Delaware North have been given a twenty year contract to run the catering and hospitality services at the Ricoh Arena, the American company have confirmed
They have replaced Compass Catering which had the contract from 2003 and officially take over on July 14th, with staff employed by Compass moving over to the American based company which will also be in charge of the hotel at the Ricoh Arena.
Delaware North have a presence at more than 60 sports and entertainment venues worldwide including MetLife Stadium near New York City, Wembley Stadium in London, Busch Stadium in St. Louis, the new Singapore Sports Hub, and Melbourne and Olympic Parks, home of the Australian Open tennis championships and has served at events such as the Super Bowl, World Series, the National Hockey League and Major League Baseball All-Star games, the Stanley Cup Final, the FA Cup Final and the Olympic Games.
Delaware North also owns and operates TD Garden in Boston, home to the NHL’s Boston Bruins, NBA’s Boston Celtics and a frequent stop for the world’s biggest music and entertainment acts. The company’s operations also include the 2011 Stanley Cup Champions the Boston Bruins, owned by Delaware North Chairman Jeremy Jacobs.
