Former Coventry City striker Dion Dublin has said that the Sky Blues face a difficult opening game of the season which starts on August 7th.
City have been drawn by the Football League fixture computer to take on relegated Portsmouth, who will be managed by Steve Cotterill, at the Ricoh Arena and Dublin told the CT: "It is a difficult one because Pompey will want to start well as they bid to get straight back up.
"But if the Coventry fans turn out and fill the Arena then they can make it really uncomfortable for Portsmouth, who will no doubt, sell out their allocation of away supporters on the day.
"But it should make for a great atmosphere and hopefully my old club can do well."
