The Greek keeper joined the South Wales club on a month's loan and made his debut in the 0-0 draw at Doncaster Rovers yesterday, saving an 85th minute Paul Heffernan penalty.
Said Konstantopolous, who is third in line at Coventry City to the BBC: "I came here to play games because I know Swansea is a good club and play good football and that's my purpose of being here. "After that, it's up to the gaffer to decide if I'm going to stay or not.
"It's the best feeling for a goalkeeper to come back after a long-term injury, play your first game, keep a clean sheet and save a penalty. "It couldn't get much better.
Swansea boss Roberto Martinez also told the BBC: "You can see when he is on the pitch, he really affects the game in the right way and if we could, we would love to.
"Dimi has got the quality to play at this level, that's certain. "But football makes the decision not me."
