Dimi In Doubt

Coventry City keeper Dimi Konstantopolous remains unclear as to his future.

Swansea boss Roberto Martinez has yet to make contact with the Sky Blues about another loan or a deal for the Greek keeper, who has returned to the Ricoh Arena, knowing that he is not likely to dislodge Keiren Westwood or number two Andy Marshall.

''I am in the dark at the whole situation at the moment,'' said Dimi to the Swansea Evening Post. ''My loan finished on Saturday and I had to return to Coventry after that.

''I think there has been some contact between the clubs, but obviously my options are open. ''I don't want to be somewhere where I am not playing. From that point of view I am not very happy at the moment.

''But nothing is for certain and I'll have a chat with my agent and see what happens.

''I want to be playing games, that's my target. I played games at the start of the loan and I felt I did well. ''After that I found myself not playing again and it was not ideal. ''I'll have to count my options up."

On his time at the Liberty Stadium, Dimi commented: "I thought I was doing well and with more games I could have improved every aspect of my game.

''I don't want to come back and say I am happy to be the No. 2. ''I wasn't playing at Coventry because I was coming back from injury. I came to Swansea and played for a team that was doing well.

''I was feeling sharp and I have taken a lot of positives to take from my loan stint. ''If I do come back then I want to be challenging strongly for the No. 1 shirt,''

His contract at City expires in June and the Sky Blues are prepared to listen to any financial offers for him in the meantime.
