Dimi Komstantopoulos is close to playing again and hopes to give Keiran Westwood a run for the number one shirt at Coventry City.
The Greek keeper has been making good progress after suffering a ruptured Achillies tendon whilst training with Nottingham Forest on his first day after being given the loan he had sought, following Chris Coleman's decision to take Kasper Schmeichel on loan.
Speaking to the CT,Dimi who is always linked with a return to his former club Hartlepool United, said: "It's been five months down the line and I am just about there.
"I am doing pretty much everything in training now and hopefully I can play a few reserve team games and be ready in a couple of weeks."
On his City future, Dimi added: "We will have to see what happens. "All three of the keepers want to play and I want to play too,so that makes four. It is not an easy situation and it won't be easy to break into the team although I will give it a try.
"At the moment,it looks like I may have to look at other options and going out on loan would be quite good but I don't want to rush into anything as I want it to be the right move for me.
"I don't know how things are going to end up but I want to stay in the Championship because I feel I am good enough to play there and that's my target. But if I have to take a step back then so be it. I think I will definitely progress once I am back on the pitch playing games."
