Joel Grandison has been given a trial at Doncaster Rovers.
The brother of Jermaine did not get offered a professional contract by Coventry City and was released after two years at City's Academy.
Sean O'Driscoll told Doncaster's club website: "Joel has just been released from Coventry and he has been recommended and he is local to where we are, so it is worth having a look - but the downside is that it is difficult to bring three players in that know the way we do things but we have to do it."
